Located a quarter of a mile before the Pemaquid Lighthouse, on the left-hand side, is the Saltwater Artists Gallery. The original members of the group formed in 1967. In 1998 they purchased the building where it is now located across from the Bradley Inn. The crashing surf on the rocks at Pemaquid can be heard from the gallery door.

The not-for-profit Saltwater Artists gallery is a co-operative adventure in the arts, members sharing in the work of running the gallery. This summer twenty six artists, jury selected, working in every medium; painting, sculpture, photography, stain-glass, jewelry, and all, will be sharing their work with visitors.
